Watson Realty Corp. Hires Shannon McLeod to Lead Hidden Hills Office

Jacksonville, FL – Tuesday, January 10, 2023 – Watson Realty Corp. is proud to promote one of its own, Shannon McLeod, to Manager of the Hidden Hills office located on Monument Road in Jacksonville. In her new position, McLeod will lead a team of experienced real estate sales associates and will also oversee recruiting efforts and day-to-day branch operations. Ed Forman, President of Watson Realty Corp., announced McLeod’s promotion last week and stated: “Shannon McLeod, an agent in the Duval Station Office, was appointed the new manager of the Hidden Hills office. Shannon was a paramedic for twenty years [and] her time in that career included front-line, leadership, and training positions. Shannon has also been very successful in the real estate [industry].”

A Jacksonville native, McLeod’s leadership philosophy is simple: “Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily, even if you have no title or position.” A practicing REALTOR® since 2019, McLeod joined Watson in September 2022 so she could become a broker and help others grow their real estate careers. When asked how she felt about joining the Watson team, McLeod had this to say: “When I became a real estate agent, I researched so many companies and assumed that Watson was a BIG corporate company and I wanted a smaller family-like environment. But after joining Watson, I found that [they’re] a BIG family, not just a corporation and I absolutely love how everyone is so sweet and welcoming.”

McLeod received Top Producer awards in both her first and second year in real estate and says that most of her sales come from referrals. In her spare time, McLeod enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling and exploring new places, and states: “I could spend every day on the water if I had the time…” Spending sunny days at the beach are one of her favorite things to do. Who can blame her for that?
