Weekend Beach

There's nothing like a day at the beach, especially when you have access to some of the most beautiful, vibrant beaches in the world. Florida's best beaches offer a slice of paradise in many forms, whether you're in the mood to kick back with your toes in the sand or you're bringing the kids along for a day of sandcastles, summer treats, and waterfront adventures. Our real estate agents have more on Florida's best beaches, perfect for a memorable weekend getaway.

  • Golden Sands Beach Park – 10350 Jimmy Buffett Mem Hwy., Vero Beach, FL 32963
Are you planning a visit to the beach with the whole family? Golden Sands Beach Park is the perfect destination in the Vero Beach area, with a waterfront park, a large beach with lifeguards, and all of the facilities you'll need to enjoy your day. Bring some food along to grill in one of the picnic pavilions, watch the kids play on the playground, and cool off with a swim at the beach. You'll also find a variety of conveniences here, including restrooms, showers, water fountains, and nearly 140 parking spaces nearby.

  • Ambersands Beach Park – 12566 N. Hwy. A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963
In the mood for a less developed beach, where you can take a scenic stroll at sunset and feel a connection to nature? Ambersands Beach Park is located within the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge and stretches for over 20 miles. It's one of the largest sea turtle nesting habitats in the United States, as well as being home to many other types of local plants and wildlife. If you enjoy bird watching, this is also an excellent park for seeing many different species in their natural habitat.

  • Sebastian Inlet State Park – 9700 S. Hwy. A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951
Looking for a beach that's different than the norm? Sebastian Inlet State Park offers many different reasons to visit, starting with some of the best surfing in Florida. The park is located at the tip of two barrier islands, which helps create waves for surfing and also leads to some truly gorgeous natural scenery. This is another popular nesting place for turtles, and on summer nights, tours are available here to safely observe the nesting turtles.

  • Main Beach Park – 32 N. Fletcher Ave., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
Amelia Island offers a variety of outstanding beaches for you to enjoy, and Main Beach Park is the most well-known beach park on the island. The beach is, of course, fantastic on its own, and it does feature lifeguards from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There's also plenty more to do here, including two beach volleyball courts, a skate park, picnic shelters, a playground, and ample facilities for cleaning up after a fun day.

  • Jacksonville Beach – Jacksonville Beach, FL
We've covered excellent beaches, but how about a whole beach town? Jacksonville Beach stretches for about 60 city blocks, with beach access on the east end of most streets, all located around 17 miles from downtown Jacksonville. With more than 4 miles of beaches and all of the amenities you'd expect from a great beach town, this is the perfect place to visit for a day of relaxation if you call Jacksonville home.
