Summer Beach Trip
Florida is well known for some of the best beaches in the United States. No matter where you go along the coast, you will never be far from an award-winning destination. Our real estate agents want to introduce you to one of the best of them all.

Convenient Location

With over 1,000 miles of coastline, Florida has dozens of beaches that rate among the best in the world. Yet, ask anyone who grew up here in Florida, and there's a certain kind of beach they often recommend you visit. These beaches have soft white sand and are known for mild tides.

This particular kind of beach is near and dear to the hearts of many Floridians, and if you've moved here more recently, you will definitely want to experience the wonder for yourself. Jensen Beach, not far from Palm City, Stuart, and Port St. Lucie, will give you this iconic Sunshine State beach experience.

Within the community of Jensen Beach, you'll find Jensen Sea Turtle Beach at 4191 Northeast Ocean Boulevard, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. The beach is open year-round, although the peak season runs from late May through to the end of September. The exact timing of the season can vary from year to year.

Spot Local Wildlife

Jensen's most prominent beach is known as "Sea Turtle Beach" precisely because it is an area where sea turtles dwell during their breeding season. During the nesting period from March through October, there may be some brief periods where parts of the beach will be inaccessible due to sea turtle nesting.

For the most part, however, sea turtle activity doesn't disrupt the usual rhythm of Jensen Beach. You may even have the opportunity to see some sea turtles yourself. In addition to strolling along the beach, making castles in the sand, and enjoying nearby concessions, you could even take a boat tour to see more marine wildlife.

Clean, Convenient, and Friendly, You Will Love Jensen Beach

First-time visitors to Jensen Beach should consider going mid-week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are ideal if you want a lighter crowd. Lifeguards are on duty seven days a week, but it's always wise to check up on local surf conditions. Keep a close eye on young children, especially during high tides.

On your way to the water, check out the conditions flag that you'll find displayed at any lifeguard station to stay aware of the tides and other issues you might be aware of. For visitors with impaired mobility, you can request the use of a beach wheelchair for free for the duration of your visit.

Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available for a nominal fee, so you don't even have to pack too much in the car before you leave for your visit. Just remember to bring water, sunscreen, towels, and flip-flops. While some of these may be available, concession stands could be far away from where you set up!

After your visit to Jensen Sea Turtle Beach, consider checking out everything else the area has to offer. From the beach itself, you will be close to some amazing seafood restaurants. While there is some seasonal variation in what's available with Florida seafood, it is always fresh and delicious.
