• 2025 Amelia Island Couples Retreat by Golfweek - 39 Beach Lagoon Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 
  Golfweek's annual Amelia Island Couples Retreat is scheduled for September 21st to 24th this year. This special event package includes three rounds of championship golf and a 3-day stay in a luxury suite at the Omni Amelia Island Resort. Participating pairs also get to enjoy a trolley tour of local historic buildings, a sunset cruise on the river, and special gastronomic experiences organized by the best chefs in town.  
  
  All participants must come as a duo, but singles are welcome to bring a friend instead of a significant other. The other person can golf with you or enjoy solo leisure time in Fernandina Beach. Space is limited, though, especially for pairs where both people want to golf. If you're interested in attending, purchase your package as soon as possible.  
  
  
• Northeast Florida Fair - 543378 US Highway 1, Callahan, FL, 32011 
  The Northeast Florida Fair is coming to town from October 9th to 18th with fun for the whole family. In addition to a bustling carnival area stuffed with exciting rides and games, there are also animal show contests, cooking competitions, farming demonstrations, a beauty pageant, and much more planned for the week. You'll also get to taste some of the best fair food in the state, including corn dogs, funnel cakes, chili fries, and other indulgent treats. 
  
  Admission costs $8 for people aged 13 and up or $5 for kids 12 and under, with some days offering free admission as a promotion for guests who meet certain criteria. Food, ride tickets, and unlimited ride armbands must be purchased separately.
  
  
• Sounds on Centre - 102 Centre Street, Jacksonville, FL 32234 
  Sounds on Centre is a series of free outdoor concerts held each year on Centre Street in Jacksonville's downtown area. The final concert for this year is scheduled for October 3rd from 6 PM to 8 PM and will feature live music from country and trop rock group Sean McCarthy Band. With food trucks on-site, fun activities for kids, and plenty of space to dance, it's sure to be a memorable night.  
  
  Admission to this event is free, and tickets are not required. Attendees can bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on, but you're also free to stand wherever there's room. Just show up and get ready to have a good time! 
  
  
• Amelia Island Jazz Festival - 2700-2 Atlantic Ave, Amelia Island, FL 32034
  2025's Amelia Island Jazz Festival will take place from September 28th to October 5th at the SpringHill Suites, with a few additional jam sessions happening outside on 8th Street. This jazz concert series is a non-profit fundraising event dedicated to funding college scholarships and jazz workshops for aspiring musicians on Amelia Island. Concert-goers can enjoy performances by big-name artists like Grammy-nominated singer Jane Monheit and celebrated jazz pianist Monty Alexander while also supporting a great cause.  
  
  Each performance requires a separate ticket that can be purchased on the festival's website. Costs vary depending on your choice of performance and seat. If you plan to attend all the performances, you can also purchase a VIP Jazz Pass for $360. This gets you access to the entire concert roster as well as special VIP seating and an exclusive jazz brunch.
