Florida is known for its beaches, but the state has plenty of inland delights as well. Our real estate agents love the breathtaking sunflower fields that are conveniently located close by in every direction.

  • Southern Hill Farms - 16651 Schofield Rd., Clermont, FL 34714
    Founded in the early years of the 21st century, Southern Hill Farms was a commercial enterprise until 2014. At that point, the family-owned farm opened to the public for the whole community to enjoy. Their annual Fall Festival is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year near Clermont homes for sale. In addition to pick-your-own sunflowers and zinnias, activities include a corn maze, pumpkin patch barn, kids' zone, wagon rides, food trucks, and live music. There are even flat-screen TVs, so you don't miss the football games. This year's festival takes place Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. each weekend from September 24-November 13. Tickets are $20, with no charge for ages 2 and under.

  • The Pickin' Patch - 11000 Rolling Hills Rd., Dunnellon, FL 34430
    Not so long ago, the owners of The Pickin' Patch were watermelon farmers. In a stroke of serendipity, they both had the idea to try their hand at growing pumpkins. Fast-forward to the current day, and the farm has twice been named "Best Pumpkin Patch in Florida" by Better Homes & Gardens. The Pickin' Patch also has fields of beautiful sunflowers, with corn and hay mazes for the kids and live music. Hours are 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for anyone over the age of 3, with an additional fee for picking pumpkins or sunflowers.

  • Stanley Pond Adventure Farm - 15426 County Rd. 48, Astatula, FL 34705
    As the name implies, Stanley Pond Adventure Farm is like an amusement park for the whole family near Astatula homes for sale. In fact, their slogan is, "We Harvest FUN." The Fun Zone features a jumping pillow, splash pad, tricycle race, and barnyard ball. When you're ready to slow it down a bit, pick some sunflowers and zinnias or do some catch-and-release fishing in the two stocked ponds. Fun Zone hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday and noon - 4 p.m. Sunday. Stanley Pond is open on weekdays by appointment only.

  • Atwood Family Farms - 36111 N. CR 44A, Eustis, FL 32736
    Fill your Instagram page with colorful pictures of the sunflowers at Atwood Family Farms. Feel free to use the props that are scattered around the fields. U-pick sunflowers are available during spring, summer, and fall, including Atwood's exciting Fall Festival, which is scheduled for Friday through Sunday from September 24-November 13. Admission is $13 on Fridays and $15 on Saturdays and Sundays. Kids 2 and under get in free. Plus, it's only a short drive from Eustis homes for sale.

    Graham's Farm
