Food Halls

So you're hungry, but you don't know what you want, or maybe you're with friends, and you can't agree on a place to eat. Sometimes referred to as "food courts on steroids," food halls are the answer to your dining dilemmas. Food halls have grown in popularity in recent years and you'll find several throughout Central Florida. You just may run into some of our real estate agents at these great food halls around Orlando and Winter Park.

  • East End Market - 3201 Corrine Dr., Orlando, FL 32803
Located minutes from Orlando homes for sale in the Audubon Park Garden District, East End Market needs two stories to hold everything they have to offer. Food merchants include Farm & Haus, an award-winning restaurant serving healthy comfort foods, and Gideon's Bakehouse, home of the half-pound cookie. Before or after eating, check out the boutique-style shops such as Porch Therapy and Freehand Goods. Hours are 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.

  • A La Cart - 609 Irvington Ave., Orlando, FL 32803
Street food is designed to be eaten on the go. Find some great purveyors of this popular food trend at A La Cart. While teaching high school in Portland, OR, April and Dustin Williams were inspired by the city's signature food truck pods. Recognizing the potential for a similar set-up in their hometown of Orlando, the couple returned to open A La Cart. Enjoy your food in the open-air pavilion that has both covered and outdoor seating. Hours are 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

  • Hall on the Yard - 1460 Alden Rd., Orlando, FL 32803
Touted as the world's first full-service food hall, the much-anticipated Hall on the Yard debuted in November 2021. The 12,250-square-foot facility is part of a mixed-use development in the Ivanhoe Village neighborhood. Unlike other food halls, guests receive table service from nine different restaurants, ranging from Southern cuisine and American fusion to Caribbean and Indian. The Hall is open 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday.

  • Plant St. Market - 426 W. Plant St., Winter Garden, FL 34787
A few short years ago, Plant St. Market was an abandoned apartment complex down the street from Winter Garden homes for sale. Today, the retro brick exterior holds a modern industrial-chic interior. Highlights among the 20 vendors include Mac'd Out, a gourmet mac & cheese stand, and This Little Piggy, a BBQ spot featuring brisket and pulled pork. Market hours are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.

  • Marketplace at Avalon Park - 3810 Avalon Park E. Blvd., Orlando, FL 32828
Blending old and new, Marketplace at Avalon Park includes an innovative food hall and an updated version of the iconic general store. Take a culinary trip with Cajun flavors at NOLA, tapas-style charcuterie at Cheese to Share, and Peruvian dishes at Brazas Chicken. The general store offers a delightful assortment of handcrafted artwork, home decor, and specialty foods that make wonderful gifts. Hours are 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily except Friday and Saturday when hours are extended to 10 p.m.
