My Career Path: My management background began in 1990 working in retail in Jacksonville, Florida. I had been in sales for a few years prior to taking on a training position to help increase sales productivity on a local level for a national retailer. Having the experience of working as a commissioned sales representative helped me identify with the needs of the associates as much as the needs for the company. I have continued to keep the philosophy of "Don't ask them (the associates) to do anything that I wouldn't do" throughout my management career. I obtained my real estate license in 2004 and searched out a company that I thought would give me the absolute best training in the industry. That led me to join Watson Realty Corp. In following with my career goals, I obtained my broker's license in 2006 and became the managing broker of the Watson Realty, Putnam County office in March of 2009. I continue to believe that great customer service is the number one reason that companies are able to stay in business and look for associates who keep this a top priority followed by education and training in all aspects of their field. We continue to build our office one customer at a time and one agent at a time offering more than 50 years of doing business THE WATSON WAY.

My Personal History: I grew up in a small town just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Florida was a favorite vacation spot when I was young. Who knew that I would end up spending my adult life here? I moved to Jacksonville in 1989 and eventually made my way to Orange Park. Not long after, my parents moved to Lake Asbury. Most of my off time was spent visiting the beach and making plans to move closer to St. Augustine. I met my husband, Jerald, in the spring of 2003 and we were married a few months later. That is how I found my way to beautiful Putnam County and San Mateo. Now I live a few blocks from the St. Johns River and half an hour from my favorite beach. We are in the perfect spot to take day trips to anywhere that we enjoy visiting in Florida. Palatka and Putnam County have so much to offer such as the Southern hospitality that the locals share, the beautiful St. Johns River and the quaint shops in Palatka and Crescent City.

The agents and I look forward to sharing this great community and helping others find their way to great Florida living!!!

My testimonial to Watson Realty Corp begins with my retirement from active duty military service in February of 2016. Real estate has always been a personal interest for me but I had no idea how to get started or the educational requirements to be a licensed agent. In February of 2016 I spoke with a retired military friend who worked in Watson’s Orange Park office, and he had said That Watson Realty Corp was the best company to work for, and NOT just as far as real estate was concerned, but literally the best company. He was completely correct and my Watson experience has been the same. I have never considered any other agency after the first day stopped and spoke with my Broker Tina Arant. She had taken time out of her busy schedule (on more than one occasion) to speak with me directly and inform me of how to get through the licensing process, which included dates, times, and locations of schools available. As I was waiting for school to begin I was invited to training every Tuesday which helped me tremendously in the licensing process.  I don’t believe I would have received this quality of  training anywhere else.
