Watson Realty Senior Vice President Steve Carlyon has been diligently serving the real estate needs of people in the Jacksonville area since 1968. A Watson Realty employee since 1970, Carlyon has served as manager of the Baymeadows/Sunbeam office since 1972. Over that time, Carlyon has developed a keen experience in how to serve and exceed the needs of customers and in helping agents reach their greatest potential. Carlyon served as president of the Jacksonville Association of Realtors in 1989 and has chaired many committees for the organization. Carlyon is a Jacksonville native, who graduated from DuPont High School in 1963. As a young man, Carlyon served in the American Red Cross volunteer Lifesaving Corps at Jacksonville Beach from 1961-65. Carlyon is an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. He has been an invaluable member of conservation groups, Ducks Unlimited and the Florida Conservation Association, serving as president or as a chairman. Carlyon is also a longtime member of San Jose Country Club.
