I was born and raised in the New York metropolitian area, while my entire family immigrated to the United States from Germany during and immediately after World War II. My upbringing exposed me to an exciting world full of different languages, colors, and backgrounds. Living in this unique environment inspired my love of learning foreign languages, which I continue to try and improve upon on a regular basis. My family's background led me to major in International Relations (emphasis on Latin America) while also playing Fullback for two seasons at Nassau Community College (NY), then playing my final two NCAA seasons also at Fullback while continuing my college education at The University of Colorado, Boulder.
My lifelong love of sports led me to begin competitive Powerlifting after my college football career ended, and I was also able to play Fullback one last time for one season of Semi-Professional football with a team called The Colorado Warriors.
After the season of Semi-Professional football ended (which included a Try-Out with the NFL's Denver Broncos), I felt that I needed to "Give back" to the country that had saved both sides of my family from the horrors and devastation of World War II. I decided to enlist in the United States Army, which was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The US military gives those who volunteer to join it opportunities that are simply unavailable anywhere else. I was priviliged to serve in the areas of Military Intelligence, Aviation, Special Forces, Infantry, and Civil Affairs. Several of my jobs in these areas required me to obtain a TS/SCI with an SBI (Top Secret/Secret Compartmentalized Information security clearance with a Special Background Investigation) which provided me numerous opportunities to work in highly classified and very specialized missions all over the Western Hemisphere. While in the Special Forces, I was selected from a small group of uniquely-trained Soldiers to work with several Federal Law Enforcement agencies where I became a member of both Counter-Narcotics and Anti-Gang Task Forces. This is when I was also able to begin graduate school, first at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, and then after first moving my parents here to The Sunshine State in 2000, followed by my family in 2003, at The University of Florida, Gainesville.
No matter which of the many endeavours I have taken part in over the years, most of my jobs have been referred to as "Positions of Trust". Whether it was as a High Value Item Clerk for the United Parcel Service/UPS, a US Army Special Forces Soldier with a security clearance entrusting me with some of our nations highest military and federal law enforcement secrets, and now as a Licensed Realtor entrusted with helping you and your family find the perfect Property, I appreciate the great significance of it all. I believe that we never stop learning and growing, and this belief has propelled me to further enhance my real estate education. I have earned a few professional certifications and designations so far along the way. Among them is the certification called At Home With Diversity (AHWD), as well as the designation of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), along with the recently conferred designation of Accredited Buyer's Representitive (ABR). In addition, I have earned a Watson Corporate Designation called Military On the Move (MOM), which as a US Army Veteran I believe I can provide a unique brand of service for.
Whether you are a first-time Buyer, looking to upgrade or downsize, or wanting to find that final "We're never moving again!!" palace, I promise to treat your search for a residential, commercial, industrial, or vacant land Property with complete dedication and great respect, as if it were my own. Purchasing a piece of real estate is a very significant event in most people's lives, and I am honored that you feel you can trust me to provide you with the upmost in Service and Security, from the beginning of the journey to the completion of what can be a complicated process, and beyond.
