I joined Watson after retiring from CSX Transportation where I was responsible for managing employee benefits. My 30+ years experience in Human Resources includes customer excellence, top notch organizational skills and a reputation for getting results the right way with the best possible outcome for the customer. My reputation and approach to success is well-suited to my role as a Realtor. Both my former career in HR and my current role as a Realtor have a direct impact on people's lives and I take that very seriously. My dedication to my customers is no less than the dedication I would expect for my own family.
I selected Watson for their high ethical and customer excellence standards and strong leadership team, all attributes I value and expect in both my personal and professional life. In my first year with Watson, I received the President's Award which is given to top producers (over $3,000,000). I work hard for my customers and their priorities become my priorities. That is what I love about being a Realtor - helping people accomplish their goals and transition to the next step in their lives. I provide many non-standard services to my customers such as coordinating estimates (and work) for repairs that may help them sell their properties at a higher price (and yes, I like making my customers' lives a little easier). When possible, I remove pets from the home for showings when my customers are busy with their jobs or families (I should mention that I am an animal lover and I never met a breed I didn't like). Many of my customers are out of state or even out of the country and they know they can count on me to handle the marketing and sale of their properties in their absence. With buyers, I enjoy that first meeting when they describe their vision of the place they will some day call home. There is nothing better than handing the keys over to a customer at closing and watching their faces light up with joy. That feeling lingers with me for days and reinforces why I love what I do.
I am originally from Chicago and have lived in Washington, South Florida and Jacksonville. I miss the mountains in Washington but I wouldn't trade living in Florida for anything. I think Floridians are some of the luckiest people on the planet! Soon after moving to Jacksonville in the early 1980's, I accepted a position with a local builder and property management company. It was then that I recognized that I had a passion for real estate that has remained consistent throughout my adult life. In 2008, I moved to Middleburg, Florida, a move that was strongly motivated by my love of horses and nature (plus it was affordable). I trail ride and hike with my dogs along the beautiful trails offered throughout Clay County but I continue to spend time in Jacksonville where my son and his family reside. I have also been involved with numerous charitable organizations both in Clay and Duval County and currently volunteer with Clay County Services, showcasing homeless animals at the televised Clay County Commissioners meetings. Let me partner with you to help you sell your next property or find your dream home. Commitment, follow through, right results and customer excellence are what you can expect from me as your Real Estate Agent.
