I started my career in the relocation industry as a moving consultant with Graebel Eastern Movers, Fairfield, NJ in my early 20's. The position allowed me to learn the Household Goods Tariff and the terminology of the business. It also gave me the opportunity to work with many corporate clients and transferees. I found my passion in the industry and loved coordinating relocations and interacting with people. I decided that getting involved with sales would be a great opportunity for me. The moving industry was pretty much a male dominated field at the time so I looked elsewhere for job opportunities in sales. I was very fortunate to find a position with an Atlas Van Line agent in my hometown of Rochester, NY. I was interviewed and hired right away for a position in corporate sales. I was genuinely happy in this challenging position and really enjoyed the excitement and fast pace. I continued with the company being promoted to sales management. I think the most rewarding feeling in this business is to help someone navigate the relocation process when they are overwhelmed about the whole business of relocating, and the appreciation they return to you when it's all over. I continued at Atlas for 15 years until 3rd Party Relocation Management companies evolved and started working directly with corporations as a one stop source for all relocation services. At that point I made the decision to leave Atlas and founded Relocation Network, Inc. It was the perfect timing and I enjoyed many years operating my own business. I was involved with every aspect of the business from marketing, advertising, sales, accounting, coordinating etc. I decided it was time to move on, try something different and I did just that. I was involved in a completely different industry as a Customer Service Administrator for 8 years until my youngest daughter graduated and I decided to high tail it out of the frigid north and moved to sunny, beautiful Florida!! I was overjoyed when I landed a position at Watson Relocation in Business Development. I now have my Florida Real Estate license, and am a member of NEFAR and SHRM. I am back to the business I love most, assisting corporations and transferees with their relocations and building new relationships every day!

We are really grateful to Kathy for helping us through a very complicated and drawn out move from Seattle for Florida. We moved the contents of two houses, two cars, and one boat, and our house in Florida was not ready for seven months. We were extremely busy throughout the process but Kathy made sure that everything was moving along with the many vendors involved and patiently kept reminding us whenever we took too long scheduling or providing information. She even kept reminding us to file a claim for some of the damages long after her official involvement was over. I would highly recommend her, and I would get her help again if we ever need to move again!
