Hello and welcome to my Watson Realty website.
After 15 years in emergency management with the American Red Cross and 10 years working in environmental conservation advocacy and nonprofit institutional advancement, I decided to continue serving my community in the real estate arena.
My family and I moved from South Florida to Gainesville in 2001. We were drawn here by the A-rated school system for our then 4-year-old son and our love of nature.
Whether you are purchasing a first home, identifying different investment options, or placing your property on the market, I am committed to guiding you through the process and ensuring that you have a successful and seamless real estate transaction.
With its abundant green areas and natural attractions the greater Gainesville area offers many options for camping, hiking, and biking. Some of my favorite spots include Barr Hammock and the San Felasco Hammock Preserve, the Hawthorne Trail and Paynes Prairie Preserve. In just a short drive to the High Springs area you will enjoy the crystal-clear fed rivers and streams of the Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Springs State Park. With plenty to see and do, Gainesville is a "small big town," with much to offer for the sports/football fans, young children and families, and retirees. There is plenty of shopping as well as fine dining, a vibrant arts and cultural scene, and thriving night life.
Gainesville was voted among the top 10 places to live in Florida by movoto.com in 2014 and ranked in the top 100 cities to live nationwide in 2019 by livability.com. No matter how you look at it, Gainesville is a great choice for your next home or investment property purchase.
I am a member of the National and Florida Association of Realtors and the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors.
