A Retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, Jim is no stranger to serving his country and community. He has had the unique opportunity to serve and live in all corners of Florida. From Pensacola to Key West, Cecil Field and Mayport. Following his time in the Navy, Jim completed a 5 year apprenticeship with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local union 630 in West Palm Beach. Once he received his Journeyman's Certificate in HVAC, he relocated back to Jacksonville and had worked for Local union 234. Assigned to WW Gay Mechanical Contractor's, He has worked the past 9 years at the Anheuser Busch In-Bev plant as the in-house HVAC Technician. When asked what he did there he replies, "Simply stated, I kept the beer cold!"
After a lifetime of service, Jim decided to combine his talents and continue to take care of people in their Real Estate purchases and Sales. Refered to as a "Forward Thinker" while in the Navy, He leaves no stone unturned or detail left to chance when dealing with his Customers. His years of experience in the building trades field gives him a rare perspective in evaluating homes and appliances. Jim graduated his Pre-licensing course at the top of the class and passed his State License Exam the first attempt. His thirst for knowledge continues today. He has completed his required post licensure education through passing the 100 series of the GRI in his first year. He also attends classroom training in house and also online courses in order to be best equiped to understand the Jacksonville housing market, forms and deadlines needed to make his customer experience the very best it can be.He is a Proud Member of The American Legion serving local Jacksonville Veterans.
When Jim is not in the home office you are likely to find him at the local Ice Rink as either a hockey player or as a USA Hockey Referree. He also enjoys Golf and watching his favorite college team in Football. (You'll have to ask him in person which one!) Since joining the Watson Intracoastal team, Jim is also involved in Micah's Backpack which provides meals and snacks to school children who may otherwise be hungry when outside of school.
