I have a BBA degree with a major in marketing from the University of Georgia. My first job after college was with Pfizer Consumer Products. I spend fifteen years with Pfizer where I rose from my entry level position of merchandiser to regional sales manager. My assignments were Atlanta, Dallas, and Tampa. My responsibilities included managing the sales force and as corporate sales and marketing liaison with major food, drug, and mass market retailers. I was named southern region "Man of the Year" on five occasions. After my successes with Pfizer, I decided to capitalize on the experience I had gained and the industry contacts I had made, and started my own manufacturer's representative company. I grew this business over a number of years until I had an opportunity to sell to a larger competitor. I have been retired now for several years. I developed an interest in real estate as a result of observing my wife, Kay Kennedy, who has enjoyed a very successful real estate career with Watson Realty. We now work together as a team. I enjoy fishing and hunting with my grand children and restoring vintage British motorcycles.
