Cyndy Tomassetti • Realtor Introduction Video from Blue Cat Digital Media Inc. on Vimeo.
Raised in the very southern-most county of Florida, Cyndy is proud to have visited every corner of the state, and has made Jacksonville her home. Having spent 30+ years in advertising sales for major media corporations including AT&T, Scripps Howard, MediaOne, Gannett Broadcasting and Tribune, she’s happy to translate her extensive knowledge of marketing and communications to the real estate industry. Investment property is a family tradition for Cyndy. Her parents had her renovating properties and collecting rents as a teenager, making the transition to a career in real estate a natural progression.
Even though Cyndy loves her birth state, she returned quickly to Florida after attaining her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism, from Rider University, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She immediately went to work as an on-air radio personality in her hometown of Islamorada, the sports fishing capital of the world. Cyndy left the Keys in 1986 to work in sales and marketing for the next twenty-five years in the Miami market, relocating to North Florida in 2007.
As National Sales Manager for MediaOne’s South Florida Operation, Cyndy was selected as “One of Cable’s Best” By Broadcasting and Cable Magazine, as she tirelessly created promotional and advertising campaigns for regional and local clients. Cyndy utilized her understanding of cultural diversity and key demographics to successfully grow her client’s revenue streams and kept a keen eye to her company’s bottom line. The skills Cyndy honed in business make her especially attentive to the value of her customer’s time and trust. Graduate studies in Communication Science at Florida State University have given Cyndy an invaluable set of tools, enabling her to translate her customer’s needs into actions.
A past president of the Florida Amateur Quarter Horse Association, Cyndy has been a competitive horseback rider since childhood. Her other passions include plein air painting, yoga, chorale singing and fishing. Besides on the back of a horse, Cyndy can be found exploring with her husband Alan, on foot, on bicycle, and by sailboat.
