Resident of Ponte Vedra Beach since 1987. My children grew up here and still live in the Beaches area. I was born in China of American parents, but grew up in North Carolina and Virginia. I earned a BA degree from Wake Forest University. At Wake Forest, I was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and paid for much of my education working for the athletic department. Today I am an active member of the Deacon Club. I had thirty plus years in the transportation and logistics industry, which helped me to develop the business and consulting skills that have practical applications in helping customers buy and sell real estate. Having lived in Mexico City and Buenos Aires, plus extensive travel throughout Latin America , further expanded my business development skills in difficult environments and cultures. As a result of living and traveling in much of Latin America, I learned to speak Spanish reasonably well. Also, along the way,and due to my interest in all things Chinese, I have developed a fair level understanding and appreciation of the principals of "Feng Shui" which can be useful for oriental (especially Chinese) property buyers and investors.. Supporting my wife, Ginger Lilley Peace, former Executive Director of the Ponte Vedra Chamber of Commerce for 8 years further deepened my commitment to Ponte Vedra, the Beaches and the Greater Jacksonville area. Now that she is the Take Steps manager for the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, I spend much of my free time volunteering for such a great cause. As an avid golfer, I am fortunate to have won the Men's Golf Championship at the Oak Bridge Club in Ponte Vedra Beach. Serve on the board of directors for the Turtleback Crossing Home Owners Association. I enjoy golf, reading, and travel, especially internationally. My favorite foreign place to visit is anywhere in Italy.
