Brad Williams is a native of Waycross, Georgia and relocated to Fernandina Beach in June 2018. With a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from the University of Georgia, he worked for 22 years at his family’s daily newspaper, Waycross Journal-Herald. From advertising manager to vice-president, Brad established strong working relationships with advertising agencies for national and local advertising, as well as retail store owners and decision makers. In addition, he covered local news and sports, took photos, designed special editions and wore many hats, while also maintaining active involvement in civic organizations, volunteering, and coaching little league.
Brad enters the real estate world with enthusiasm and has always had a passion for helping others. He’s a goal-driven and performance-focused professional who is effective at establishing positive working relationships and is skilled at developing and implementing strategic action plans and possible solutions. He is familiar with Amelia Island and northeast Florida and frequently stayed at his family’s beach house on First Avenue in Fernandina for over 30 years.
Being a thrill-seeker and having much love and respect for the outdoors, Brad enjoys scuba diving, motorcycles, surfing, biking, golf, and fishing. He is no stranger to carpentry and loves all kinds of woodworking, big or small. He has a deep love for music and has been playing guitar and singing since the age of 12 and regularly performs on Amelia Island. But, his main passion outside of work will always be his family. He has a wife, Christy, and five children: Logan 21, Laine 17, Kami 11, Layla 9, and Annabelle 6.
