Tourism is the main employer in the greater Orlando area. It's no surprise that the top employer is also one of the top Orlando attractions. Walt Disney World employs around 54,000 area residents. Orange County Public Schools is tied with Disney as the top employers in Orlando. The State of Florida Government, Adventist Health Systems and Florida Hospital are the remaining top five employers. Universal Studios also falls among the top 10.
In September of 2013 there were 912 residential homes sold in Orlando at an average price of $145000, with the highest price selling for $3150000 and the lowest price selling for $13000.
