Daytona Area Attractions
By far the beach is Daytona Beach's biggest attraction, but that is just one of many. Some of the tourists who head this way come following NASCAR with the desire to see the Daytona 500. Its prestigious golf courses, like the Daytona Beach Golf Club or the golf club at the LPGA International headquarters, are another popular attraction.
Once you are done visiting the area attractions, head into downtown for some shopping or a bite to eat. Along Beach Street you will find three blocks of some of the best local shopping and dining options. Make sure you schedule time to grab a treat at Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory while you are there. Not far from this street you can dine in the intimate 10 table restaurant called The Cellar, housed in what was once President Harding's home, or the Ronin Sushi + Sake Bar, another popular eatery.
