    Jacksonville, Fla. – Jan.31, 2014 – Watson Realty Corp.™ celebrated and honored the performances of their associates, offices and staff at the company’s 48th annual North Central region awards ceremony. 

    The St. Augustine Beach office was awarded the Top Producing office in the region; and the second highest Top Producing office in closed volume production was St. Augustine. 

    The Top Producer for the region was the Gachet-Crum team who were awarded the Platinum Pinnacle Award. The Platinum Pinnacle award recognizes those associates who have achieved from $25 million to $50 million in closed volume in one year. The region’s second highest Top Producer, Elaine Wallace was awarded Gold Pinnacle recognition for closing volume between $10 million and $25 million. 

    DJ Kaufman, a sales associate from the Gainesville office joined the company in 2012, and received the Rookie of the Year award.  The Rookie of the Year is presented to the associate with the highest earnings during their first full year with Watson Realty Corp.™  In the calendar year of 2013, Kaufman also achieved the Silver Pinnacle Award; which is presented to associates with $5 million to $10 million in closed volume in one year.

    For the first time ever a new category of awards, the Rising Star, was created by Watson Realty Corp. leadership to recognize those associates who were licensed in 2013 and closed over $1 million in volume or had 10 new listings. The recipients of this new award were Tina Kidd from the Amelia Island office for meeting and exceeding the closed volume quota and Tom O’Shaughnessy from the St. Mary’s office for surpassing the listings criteria.

    Watson Relocation Services awarded the St. Augustine office with the Award of Excellence which salutes the office with the highest number of referrals per associate with a high conversion rate. David Alfin from the Palm Coast office received an award from the Relocation Division for having the most closed outgoing referrals. 

    The North Central annual awards ceremony luncheon was held on Jan. 29, at the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel.

  • Watson Realty Corp. Associates Receive Million Dollar Guild Membership

    Jacksonville, Fla.- Jan. 13, 2014- Watson Realty Corp. associates from the Ponte Vedra Beach office who formed a distinctive team, The Luxury Leaders, specializing in luxury homes; recently sold their third island property in the last two years. The property sold was located on the Intracoastal Waterway and closed for $1.3 million.

    The four-member team includes Jim Zeller, Linda Ostoski, Mark Ryan, and Rhonda Gummerman. The team was recognized by the prestigious Institute for Luxury Home Marketing for their recent performance in the million-dollar and above luxury home market in Northeast Florida.

    DeLand, Fla. –Jan. 22, 2013 – Barbara Girtman from Watson Realty Corp. ™ Deland office was recently recognized at the annual DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce Installation Gala with the 2013 Civic Leadership Award for her contribution and passion for local economic development.

    “It was rewarding to receive this acknowledgment from the business community after just one year’s effort,” says Girtman. “2013 was a good year and I look forward to making 2014 even greater.”

    Under the civic leadership criteria, the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce provides leadership relating to issues that are important to the business community.   • Watson Realty’s Lynnette Piper earns MRP Certification

    Jacksonville, Fla.- Jan. 13, 2104 – Watson Realty Corp. Hidden Hills Realtor® Lynnette Piper recently earned the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification.

    This certification is provided by the National Association of REALTORS®. It focuses on teaching real estate professionals how to handle working with, and helping active and former military personnel find housing solutions.

    “I found this training very useful and essential to expanding my customer base, as Jacksonville is a major military city,” shared Piper.

    For military members and their families, having a MRP relieves them of the stress and complications that relocation can involve.

    “Home ownership is an important part of the fabric of America, and having a stable home environment is vital when men and women of the military are called away to serve their country. Working with a REALTOR® who understands specific needs and timetables related to military service will make their transfers easier, faster and less stressful,” says NAR President, Gary Thomas.

Piper volunteers for Toys for Kids Foundation and Children’s Home Society, and in her spare time she enjoys gardening, going to the beach, entertaining and attending live theater.
